Tasting notes
Tasting notes
The wine is pale yellow with golden reflections and explosive notes of green apple, pear and white flowers, with a mineral undertone.
The palate is fresh, delicate and full-bodied, with good balance and a fresh mineral finish.
This natural, authentic Roero Arneis embodies its marine origins.
Vinification
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in early September. After a gentle pressing they undergo a controlled fermentation at around 17 °C for 20 days.
After fermentation the wine is chilled to around 3 °C and mixed with the lees to release flavours and lovely aromas. The wine is then racked three times to separate it from the sediment, filtered and stored in steel tanks for at least 4 months before being bottled.
