Tasting notes
Tasting notes
In the glass this is a transparent ruby coloured wine with purple reflections and elegant aromas of cherry, strawberry and red fruit.
Thanks to the amphora, this wine gains more complexity, with notes of light spices and a subtle earthy touch, pronounced minerality and a warm undertone.
Vinification
Vinification
Vinification in amphora: pure nature, with time as an ally.
Vinification takes place in ceramic amphorae, where the must remains in contact with the skins for 25 to 40 days. This long maceration, carried out with natural yeasts native to the grapes, ensures a deep extraction of aromas, colour and structure, entirely in harmony with nature.
Ageing in amphora
After fermentation the wine matures for a further 12 to 18 months in the same ceramic amphorae. This ancient technique gives the wine purity, elegance and a special balance between freshness and complexity, without any influence from wood. The wine has an impressive ageing potential of 10 years or more.
Serving temperature
Preferably serve at 18°C to bring out its layered character and aromatic depth in full.
