Tasting notes

In the glass the wine shines with a pale rosé colour and a subtle sheen. On the nose a harmonious mix of ripe blackberries, black cherries and wild berries unfolds, framed by saline maritime notes. Subtle nuances of violets, Mediterranean herbs and a touch of black olive add extra depth.

On the palate the wine reveals layers of ripe dark fruit, cocoa and dried fig, refined spiciness and a light smokiness. The velvety, structured tannins are perfectly balanced by a lively, mineral freshness. The finish is long, elegant and complex, with returning saline and spicy notes, hints of bay leaf and a remarkably soft close.

Vinification

Made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards aged 15 to 25 years. After the hand harvest the grapes are gently pressed to retain only the purest juice. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18°C, using exclusively the estate's own natural yeasts. This preserves the pure expression of the grape variety and the unique terroir.

The wine then matures in the bottle according to the classic method (“sur lie”) for 25 years, which gives it its deep complexity and structured elegance.

Serving temperature:

For the best experience, it is recommended to serve this wine between 10 and 12°C.
