Tasting notes
Tasting notes
The wine has an intense ruby red colour with purple reflections. It is complex and fruity, with hints of strawberry, blackberry and vanilla, and shows the typical violet aroma characteristic of the Barbera grape.
On the palate the wine is full and well structured, with a pleasant acidity that ensures a fresh and long finish.
Vinification
Vinification
Traditional vinification with respect for the grape
The wine is vinified through controlled maceration in horizontal fermentation vats, at a temperature never exceeding 30°C. Only natural yeasts native to the grapes are used, resulting in a pure, honest expression of the terroir. After fermentation, the wine matures for 4 to 8 months in stainless steel tanks or in large acacia wood barrels. This approach preserves the freshness and liveliness of the wine while adding subtle refinement and a soft structure. The wine has an ageing potential of 4 to 5 years.
Serving temperature
The wine shows at its best when served at a temperature of 18°C.
