Elegant and structured, with an intense colour, a complex nose and a broad aromatic range that moves from fruity notes to delicate and even floral secondary scents, complemented by spices, chocolate and butter. Its evolution in the glass offers an ever-changing tasting experience. Extremely complex, it is an appealing wine with great ageing potential.

This Barbaresco is the result of a careful selection of grapes from the Campo Quadro vineyard, located in the San Cristoforo subzone of Neive. Fermentation takes place spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, and vinification follows special techniques. A tumultuous fermentation phase takes place with a fully submerged cap, after which the wine briefly matures in new wood, followed by periods in wood of different ages, marked by frequent blending that ensures a pleasant and balanced oak influence. The time in wood is not fixed but depends on the characteristics of the vintage and of the wine itself, ranging from a minimum of fifteen to as many as thirty-six months. Bottling takes place under favourable conditions, followed by long bottle ageing, equal in length to the time spent in wood, before the wine is released.
