Punset Barbaresco DOCG Riserva Basarin 2016

Elegant and pleasant, this wine is marked by a velvety, harmonious structure, with floral and berry notes that come together with aromas of chocolate and spices. Graceful, delicate and seductive. The colour is garnet red with a hint of ruby, taking on light orange hues with age.

This wine is produced using traditional and natural methods, exclusively from organically grown grapes from the MeGA Basarin in the municipality of Neive. After careful selection, the grapes ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. Maceration lasts four weeks or longer, after which the wine is aged in traditional Slovenian oak barrels, where it remains for at least twenty-four months. Bottling takes place in summer, followed by long bottle ageing before the wine is released. Thanks to this long ageing, this Barbaresco is customarily offered with the Riserva designation.
