Cogli L'Attimo Barolo Cerviano 2020 DOCG

Garnet red with bright and orange reflections. Pronounced complex scents, with persistent and intense aromas. Notes of small red forest fruits are followed by floral scents of violets and irises. The citrusy component of bitter orange and spicy notes complete the bouquet. On the palate the wine is intense and rich, with an excellent freshness attributed to the vintage. Rose petals, mandarin peel and pink grapefruit emphasize the lively tonicity of this harvest. This is followed by the fruity pulp with flavors of wild strawberries and blueberries. The finish is long and persistent, juicy and lively, with harmonious and well-integrated tannins.

The crushing and destemming of the grapes takes place in stainless steel tanks. The maceration of the must in contact with the skins lasts at least a month, during which gentle pumping over and manual immersions are carried out. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks. After a year in steel tanks, the wine is transferred to 500-litre tonneaux of second passage. Here the wine matures and evolves for 18 months. The wine is then stored in steel for another 6 months. The wine then undergoes further refinement in the bottle.
